Educational assessments
Evaluations provide information useful to schools and practical strategies families can implement at home. When appropriate, we also offer treatment recommendations and referrals.
Psychological assessments
Gold-standard assessment batteries consider history, symptoms, behavioral observations, and test results to support diagnosis and treatment recommendations, along with a detailed written report.
Specific learning disorder evaluations
We examine academic and cognitive strengths and weaknesses, including impairment in reading, written expression, and mathematics, so families can pursue appropriate resources and support.

Virtual intake
Meet with your psychologist in a HIPAA-compliant telehealth session to discuss symptoms, experiences, expectations, and testing needs.
In-office assessment
Complete your individualized testing at our Grand Rapids office. Testing takes approximately three hours.
Virtual results review
After scoring, analysis, and report preparation, meet virtually with your psychologist to discuss results, recommendations, and next steps.

Assessments tailored to your needs
Neuropsychological assessments
A full neuropsychological assessment evaluates cognition and intelligence, executive functioning, attention and concentration, motor skill development, language, learning, and memory. It also considers mental health, emotional functioning, and personality development.
These evaluations may be appropriate for medical conditions affecting mental functioning, substance-related effects, ADHD and executive-function concerns, learning difficulties, and neurodevelopmental delays including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Psychoeducational evaluations
Testing may help determine whether a specific learning disorder is present while considering other factors that may affect academic potential, such as attention deficits, anxiety, or depression.

Focused ADHD assessment
Our abbreviated, tailored assessment combines patient history, clinical evaluation, self-report measures, and standardized testing of attention and executive functioning. It also screens for emotional and personality factors that can contribute to difficulty sustaining attention.
Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment battery
We use a comprehensive battery commonly regarded as a gold standard for ASD assessment. It includes psychosocial history and development, cognitive assessment, and autism-specific measures with modules designed for toddlers through adults.

Our goals for your visit
Respectful evaluation. Practical direction.
We perform diagnostic testing for autism, ADHD, achievement, mood disorders, cognitive impairment, and related concerns for children, adolescents, and adults. Results may support school IEPs, medical reports, ABA therapy, or personal understanding.
Our limited licensed psychologists work under the supervision of a fully licensed psychologist. Depending on the client’s ability and timely completion of intake paperwork, testing and the follow-up appointment may be completed within one week.
